Baton Rouge???

I'm looking for a good area to stay in.
It looks as though most of the hotels are in the area few have told me to stay away from. Any info would help. I'm only staying 2 days.
suggestions on a few hotels would be very helpful.
Any clients who's went to a place and felt comfortable with the front desk people?
