Places to stay in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines

PM me if necessary, but Ginger Doll and I need some ideas on where to stay in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines.

A gentleman PM'd me on a hotel to avoid (thank you!), but a good place to stay is still needed. Any ideas?
