Jerry's Cajun Cafe only if you like exceedingly delicious cajun food. I always maintain it's the best restaurant in Pensacola but I'm just a big fat guy so what do I know from good food. Check out the special boudin and the sweet potato fries with cinammon and sugar. There's the Angus if you like steakhouses and a place near there called Applewood Market Deli (I think) that's got some neat stuff. Of course most people want seafood when they come to the coast. There's a place on the wharf called The Fish House, IIRC, which claims to be the only one with a license to buy daily direct from fishermen coming in. There's a couple restaurants in the complex. Pensacola Beach is reputed to have several fine seafood places that I haven't tried. And smack downtown Wintzell's opened up. They're a small local chain out of Mobile. The original is outstanding, the other franchises I've been to have been fine as well, and the decor is worth the trip itself (thousands of little signs with very funny sayings on them.) Also, anyone 80 or over who brings their parents in gets free oysters. You're from Texas so you don't know good BBQ, which is good because Pcola doesn't really have any. There is a Cock O' the Walk if you gotta have catfish.
I hear the beaches are nice. And there is a Naval Air Museum that's worth checking out.

Oh yeah, I meant to address McGuires. Only time I went I thought it was overpriced and touristy, but I know people who love it.
The Grand Marlin is very yummy food!
Thanks everyone.... think I'll check out the seafood places or maybe a good
