This hobby is not a safe hobby. It is not like the hobbies of golf, swimming, or even pickle ball. Women are exploited. Men are exploited. It is unfortunate that women are exploited.

How do we police ourselves as an industry to ensure discretion and safety?

Here is a current example of the exploitation and danger in the hobby:

Everyone be safe, be careful, be aware, and use good judgement.
What site is this thread referring to please?
I have seen a website that uses stolen profiles for clickbait. They post a stolen profile on backpage then when you click on the contact link it takes you to another website where the provider is nowhere to be found in the local area.

Good reason to stick with this site if you are "window shopping".
Indeed, the site "scrapped" my profile and pics from another reputable site as well!

I was wondering, do you always turn away the business these sites send you, what if you got more interest from them and why do you think the hobbyist are not as qualified, there are screwed up hobbyist on every single site. it seems most hobbyist look all over the place, from EROS to Backpage and everything in between. not just one or two venues, also because you'll see the same ladies posting different rates on different sites and cities, seen that a lot depended on what site they are posted on.
For example those that post on EROS ask for more, I'm not 100% inclined to believe that because you charge more and on EROS you're getting a better overall product (escort services rendered) than say posting here on ECCIE.
when you think about it, it's not free advertising for them, it's free advertising for you.

I can understand people frustrations, it seems the biggest issue is that you can't update the info the scrapper sites have, so I do see the issue, you can always do a DMCA takedown notice to remove any pictures or videos they have up

The one solid defense (of sorts) against the scraper sites is to NEVER post your phone number here and ask reviewers to keep numbers confidential, too.

That way you will get much fewer calls from scraper readers.

You should also watermark your photos so they cannot be misused.

imo, only a truly UTR provider can defend against the scrapers, but obviously that is not the best option for marketing.

If you think about it, what about search engines like Google or Bing they sent out robots that scan every single website and they display the info they gather from say your escort site, or any escort site, info on their site that links back to you. so depended on what you have written on your site people can search and find you. basically free advertising for you.
Free advertising... Ive had better customers from bp then this site all free advertisement

They refuse to take down my profile and ignore my request. How dare they get free advertising.
