They are "both" enemy combatants. GWB went out of his way to classify them as such even if they were housed in Gitmo so that they did not fall completely within the Geneva Conventions. Obama did the same because he knows what calling them POWs would legally entail.

You stepped on it Timmy but I dont' think you know it. Enemy combatants? According to who? Think back about two years ago with the Department of Homeland Security released a report that said returning veterans who are christians and believe in owning weapons could be potential terrorists. Who makes the decision who or who is not a terrorist. That is my problem. If only, ONLY the POTUS made the decision to kill and he is who we go to if there is a mistake, okay, It seems from the story that the decision has been farmed out to subordinates and that is very troubling.
