The reality of high-end escorting

I read this on another forum I'm on and thought I would post to see if this was true.

I just wanted to post this because I see a lot of bragging from people who claim to be super high-end escorts but their rates don't really reflect that. I do want to say that rate does not reflect an escort's value or self-worth. If you're happy with what you're getting, more power to you. The thing is that a lot of people don't really understand what's realistic when it comes to the really high rates. I want to shed a little light on that and relate my experience and the experience of others I know in the 1,000+ an hour range.

First of all, I started out working in the Nevada brothels. I'm not going to get into the specifics of that in this thread but I was there for several years. Eventually, I got tired of traveling to the ranches and started escorting in Vegas. I was an independent and charged $400 an hour which is pretty average in Vegas.

Now, over the years I met clients who liked me and would give me $2000 or $3000 for a few hours and bring me presents of jewelry and things like that. After several years, I had more than a couple of these awesome clients.

So, I "retired" and stopped advertising. I then started a very discreet website where I don't show my face and charge $1200 an hour. I ONLY told my best clients about this and they didn't care because they already were paying me that much voluntarily. I rarely pick up a new client but it's ok because it's just a side business and I only have appointments a few times a year, usually when my regulars come into town for a convention.

What I'm getting at is that when you charge a more standard rate, you have more steady business and you can count on it. When you get to the really high rates, it's not steady for ANYBODY. Some people seem to believe that these women are making 10,000 to 20,000 a week consistently but it's just not true.

I know several high-end escorts from way back in the day when they charged less, had different names and would occasionally work the brothels. I could name drop but that would be exposing their personal business and I consider some of these girls friends so I'm not going to do that.

I had lunch with two girls who are reasonably well known and charge over $1000 an hour this summer. They live on the East coast so I don't see them very often and we were catching up. One of them had not had an appointment in over a year and then booked a $35,000 appointment. So, that's $35,000 a YEAR. Not super impressive but she has a full time job and that money is just icing. Not to mention she earned it by going on a nice vacation with a guy she enjoys spending time with. The other one makes a reasonably consistent $10,000 to $20,000 a YEAR. This is reality.

Now, if you saw either of these girls post on the escort boards, you'd think they each were making that much money monthly. I don't give a FUCK what people claim on the escort boards because that is ADVERTISING. It's not real.

Bottom line, if you're a escort charging a standard or slightly higher rate in your city with steady business, you make MORE annually than these super high-end independent escorts 9 times out of 10. I made a LOT more money at $400 an hour than I do now, but it's a trade off. I deal with less people now and it works for me.

I just hate the bullshit about escorts putting each other down due to rates. There's a lot of goddamn liars on the Internet but I'm basing this information off of the people I know in real life. The high-end escorting world is all about smoke and mirrors and making normal woman look glamorous and mysterious. It's a BUSINESS and when some twit decides to hurt somebody else's self esteem over it, it says a helluva lot more about them than the escort they're insulting.

So, that's my two cents on the matter.

Your statements about low, unpredictable volume is consistent with what some have shared here. That said there are exceptions to every rule: I'll call them the tails on a distribution curve. So I'm sure there are some very high priced, very busy ladies out there.

I'll make another general statement about society in general. I've found that people that feel the need to constantly talk about how much they make or how successful they are often are full of shit and they hide behind vague statements. Like they'll say "I made.." when really they mean, "I grossed" or "I billed"

More often than not, those who talk about it don't have it.

Depends on your business model. Some escorts have a Wal-Mart business model, while others have a Neiman Marcus business model. One of them sells volume while others sell price. Price doesn't necessarily mean better quality. It just means it costs more.

That is my comment on the matter. The very high end Pearl Elite would never allow such words to slip the tongue. Do you "change" when out with a client? I only ask if there is a switch or something an escort can change on such things that are ingrained in our speech and mannerisms. I would love to be able to switch that button on or off sometimes on myself.

Do you have a website we can see? I just love seeing the high end escort websites. They are always so well written and with so much panache. They have timeless classy concepts. The pictures alone are amazing on these sites. These escorts spend tons of money on their looks and pictures. I find very rarely are they even disrobed. It leaves so much to the imagination.
I can't count how many women I've turned away for saying drapes instead of curtains.
I wonder if the drapes (curtains) match the carpet.

Nah, he'll make some comment that even a blind squirrel sometimes finds an acorn.

My only question to you is "Did you NOT read the post?"

I copied and pasted the post from another forum. In other words, It was written by another provider NOT me.

Again, What are you talking about? I only asked for thoughts on what SHE said.

You might want to try learning how to read before questioning me. Thank you.
