Did You Watch the Mayweather Fight?

DifferentStrokes's Avatar
Just got home and wondering what you all thought of the fight? Im a Mayweather fan and love that he has consistently fought the day before my bday always makes deciding what to do the night before easy.

Anyway, for those who watched, what are your thoughts? Personally Id like to see a rematch.

Sorry for rambling i may be slightly inebriated

Not a fan of boxing anymore, used to be but most fights are boring these days. Not quite into ufc yet, but at least those matches are more entertaining to me.

Moved to the proper forum.

Not a fan of professional boxing anymore, I like to watch golden gloves or I will even go to watch military bouts if nearby.

Happy Birthday.

Boxing has been on a popularity decline for years. The UFC has helped in that. I'm what you would call a Closet UFC Fan, meaning I'm a big fan but hide it because I don't want to be associated with the douchebagness that seems to go hand-in-hand with UFC fans.

Thanks for the bday shouts...

Yeah, fight was far better than i thought... would like to see a rematch. UFC is growing on me slowly but surely. Speaking of UFC- what are your thoughts on the TS fighter? Never heard of s/he until a real sports episode a few weeks ago.

Fallon Fox has been around a while. Of course so has the controversy. It's a tough subject to handle without opening a HUGE can of worms. I have nothing against the TS or TG community, I think they should be allowed to have whatever it is they are being denied BUT if you were born a man you shouldn't be fighting against women in the cage. Even after chopping your dick off you still have the same bone structure and frame as a man. Of the few fights she's had, she wrecked those girls in a really bad way.
No, sorry... I gave up on watching boxing years ago. Hard to tell what is fixed and what is not. Plus, with boxers like Pacquiao, Canelo and Mayweather selecting jobbers to "defend" their titles, I just stopped caring altogether about it.
UFC is too romantic for my personal tastes. Too much hugging and clinging to the very bare breath amidst the minimum space between two souls...

I wonder what Dan Cook would say about the current state of fisticuffs.
