One of my favourites from Austria "Arnulf Rainer". He became famous first for overpainting photographs. What I like about his paintings is that they appear to be moving right in front of you, all the lines seem to move. And although it looks "simple" it is hard to do the way he paints and measures out the weight of each color.

interesting, trying to figure out if it was planned this way, or if the construction site workers had too much idle time? It is from Northcumberland, which is UK. same country had crop circles.
