Server Unavailable

for the most part...every thread i click on today..i keep getting this message:
503 Service Unavailable

The server is temporarily busy, try again later!

is anyone else getting this problem?
is there a reason i may be getting this problem?
is it maybe just "my" computer?
this really blows

No but we have found this points to a browser setting, make sure you accept cookies, but also delete them when you close the browser.

Error 503 is the server's way of saying its either overloaded and not accepting socket connections which is what each page request is.

Or that the server is in maintenance.. its a temporary state of the server.

my browser (both FireFox and Chrome) are set to keep my cookies, and I do not have it set to flush info.

When the server is unavailable, I think patience is your only help.

It's analogous to when the highway is unavailable due to construction or a traffic accident.

Take a deep breath, be patient and just let the mess clear out.
