Re: Infoshare

Mods/Owners...I wasn't sure where to post this, so if this isn't the proper forum, please move to the correct place. I am not trying to cause any trouble, but I am very concerned about this topic.

I just received information from a local mod that all providers now have to *request* access to our local infoshare...just as we do for the powder room. While this is absolutely the right of the owners to do whatever they deem necessary for the security of this board...why on earth didn't ANYONE give us the courtesy of a notice of this fact? Even the local mod couldn't answer my question when I asked what happened...and that's just not fair to them either!

I may be alone on this, but I am feeling very *uneasy* about why such an integrel part of my security, as a provider, has been taken away with absolutely NO information whatsoever! I'm a bit upset about the lack consideration for us...can anyone please explain what is going on?

Do you see infoshare? If not let us know, because it is not restricted.
It has been restricted to many ladies and they can not see it or post, why some can. One lady was told she had to have access to the powder room in order to have access to the infoshare.
I had the same problem, even though I have access to the Ladies Powder Room, earlier in the week but it's been resolved.
My access to info share went poof on Tuesday.
Well I've been away, and just looked at old email and yes it is restricted to ladies that have been screened by the Female mods.
That's about the same time mine disappeared. What was even more strange is that I had access in some cities, but not others.

I can't see nothing either
Hey ladies...if you want access to these private areas, all you need to do is ask. Send a note to the female staff at powderroom@eccie.net to start the process. In fact, any more inquiries regarding this topic can be addressed to that email address. They have the answers. Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you SP Hunter and St. Chris...so, this wasn't a glitch, but a decision? If so, next time could we be *informed,* in advance, so we aren't left clueless? Also, why do providers need to get reapproved for powder room and infoshare, but the locker room isn't affected for the hobbyists? If this isn't any of my business...please accept my apology in advance.

Have a good weekend everyone.

About the new access to the Powder Room Rules.... Now, I can understand the reasons and concerns behind changing the rules for who is allowed access to the powder room. But, I have to ask somethings about the conditions for being admitted to the room. Why are there not some waivers in place for those providers who have been providers for quite a while and have plenty of proof of this that is easy to find and be verified on the internet, with no complaints ever anywhere and have never been banned on any site, but are just new to ECCIE due to relocating to the area where ECCIE was a more popular board, like in my case, where, I had been reminded of it again and had a lot of positive, good reviews with no negative reviews, on many review sites. Like in my case. I have been a provider this time for over 3 years and had also worked for over 4 years for an agency back in the 80's when I was in my early 20's. I am an old pro, but a good one, with the ethics and morals, that would assure any other provider that they were safe around me and the discretionary habits, that would keep anyone from worrying and the smarts to always be willing to keep learning something new everyday, no matter how much I already know. I know I may need the Powder Room and I know I qualify for being in it, even though I am new to ECCIE, but I am far from being new to being a provider, I am well established all over the internet and I am not and have never been a safety or security risk! I am sure there are others like me! We are not like the new providers who are just coming in from no where! Please consider this and consider waivers for those who can provide more history and no history of being any kind of problems!!

Thank You!!
