QOTD: Would it be too odd if I...

offered a dinner option where I cooked? I've been looking into offering more options that would allow clients to experience more of me. I enjoy cooking, I take weekly cooking classes, and I simply enjoy catering to a man in every way possible so I've been considering adding this option, but I'm not too sure how it would be perceived.

I'm also considering adding massages, I'm considering getting licensed as a massage therapist.(not just a simple rub & tug action. lol) And, I'm looking to add a few more things that would make sessions more enjoyable.

Do you think these options are over kill? I know some will state getting certified as a massage therapist may be overkill, but I enjoy learning new things and think it would be a great add on in this realm and in my real life.

Gents what add on services, if any, would you like to see ladies provide?

Celeste,

Taking several of your recent posts together it seems that you are trying to shape yourself to market to a particular subset of the men here. Good for you. I think too often some ladies try to be all things to all men and never differentiate themselves—never convey what it is that makes them special and distinctive.

You have asked about home cooking, and more clock-free encounters, and inquiring how to make the whole encounter more enjoyable. Those pieces all nicely fit together. If that is indeed the way you decide to market yourself those pieces do seem to fit nicely together. That is definitely the kind of package that would appeal to me, and while I know I am a minority view, I am not unique.

You will likely get a number of people telling you that is not of any interest to them, they wouldn’t pay extra for any of that, and it will cost you clients. All those are true—but if you go down that path those are not likely the client base you are trying to attract. Not every lady is right for every man.

Again, assuming you go in that direction, there are a few other pieces you want to keep consistent with the message:

--Your web site and ads—they should convey the essence of the experience, they should make it clear what kind of client you are right for, and equally important what kind of client you are not right for.

--Look at other ladies’ web sites. Find some who portray the same kind of image you want to portray (obviously they won’t be identical), then look at which parts of their web sites catch your eye. Write to them—ask them if they have a sense what has worked for them.

--You are selling the whole package, not just the physical—so SELL the whole package. Show the personality, the good dinner date, the quality of your cooking, etc. I have seen some short videos that do a very good job conveying personality/compatibility, and at the same time they can be very seductive.

--Your price structure—if you are trying to market for dinner dates and other longer encounters, then have your prices encourage that. Several such ladies have something like “$600 for 2 hours minimum, $100 per hour after that”. If a lady had that price structure and I wanted to see her I would almost certainly schedule for 4 or 5 hours, feeling I would be getting a good deal.

Please feel free to PM me and I will point you towards a couple web sites that might give you some ideas.

Good luck.

Dinner sounds like a great idea, especially if you really get down in the kitchen. I think it definitely speaks to a certain type of gentlemen. Personally, I'd prefer a lunch date where maybe you'd make a slightly lighter meal. Dipping out for a long lunch kinda feels like sneaking away for a rendezvous with the SO (or mistress). Makes for rather pleasant memories for the rest of the day...
Cooking for someone is a lovely service for the right gentleman. Unless that gentleman wants to help you in the kitchen I do recommend cooking your savories at your actual home so the smell of food doesn't cling to your customers clothes. Desserts may be safely prepared at your incall. Grilling meats outside also helps to avoid food smells in your incall. I would also suggest creating meals that much of the prep can be completed well beforehand or can be reheated from frozen without to much quality going out the window.

Also consider how much you trust that the gentleman won't cancel on you last minute. I would hate for you to grill some lovely sea bass on for it to go to waste.

I don't think being a LMT is going overboard.
I think this is a delightful idea. My friend Tabitha Cooks in NYC is an Ebony Escort who markets this same idea and has been quite successful with it. You can google her to find out more about her and perhaps it will help you find inspiration as you zero in on your specific marketing concept.

I on the other hand could really do good for myself by taking a few cooking classes. I'm incredibly lazy when it comes to cooking unfortunately

Just make sure they do not have any allergies or restrictions.
Thank you for steering me in her direction. She's beautiful!

Also, don't feel bad about not cooking lol I grew up as a tomboy. My mother and grandmother use to always try to get me in the kitchen to learn and I would always fake a stomach ache or run out of the house to go play. Then I grew up and realized I was spending far too much money eating out so I decided to learn to cook. Most of my meals started out BAD! LOL But, I was determined to get my meals right... I knew I struck gold when I made a (somewhat) healthy dish, fried cauliflower lettuce wraps, and allowed my mom and dad to try it and they both loved. My parents are my biggest critics and they have me come over weekly now to cook. I also decided to help make sides for Thanksgiving a few years ago and everyone including my nieces and nephews, whom are picky eaters, cleaned the plate dry! lol

Cooking takes time and patience, but the end result is so worth it!

That sounds perfect! I could definitely see how a home cooked meal would be perfect for those who enjoy longer engagements or for a "clock-free" session. It would definitely portray a real girlfriend vibe. It would take a lot of planning and preparation and of course, guys would have to mention that it is something that they ant, but if you mention it in your ads or on your website I can see it working. Even for shorter dates, you can have a meal already prepared for after your romp in the sack, but I hope you are ready for the sleepiness and lethargy that comes with delicious southern cuisine!

I also think being a LMT would be a great benefit and introduce you to another subset of clients who enjoy spending time with providers, but for some reason are not interested in full service. Any add-on service you are able to offer is just that, an add-on. As long as you are clear in your marketing and advertising and still screen vigilantly it should all work out. I would like to personally volunteer as your taste tester and massage dummy, just fyi! LOL!
