Let's start a band

Not really, well maybe. Trying to find musicians to jam with on craigslist is worthless. Being in Austin I'm going to assume some people here can play other instruments than the skin-flute. Are there any other musicians out there that get tired of the "we're gonna make it" pro gear pro attitude required bullshit and can lay down a groove or what ever and dig making noise at music lab once in a while? This is a real shot in the dark but what the hell.

I'm over 40 and still like to get loud(fluent on bass and guitar). For me blues, surf, punk, and a little metal all float my boat as well as free-form acid jazz jamming with lots of feedback and delays. What kind of players haunt this board? Let me know.
