Where to stay?

Hey ladies and gents. I'm coming to your town for a visit later this month (ad will be up shortly) but I wanted to ask what area(s) was best to stay in? What areas to avoid? And what should I go see or do if I happen to have some down time? Hope to meet some of you later this month!

Avoid downtown....parking sucks. 410 and IH 10 central and Medical areas, seems to work for most.
