100k is a bit exagerated most likely to cause a gasp in the viewers. I will say if there are 100k of them, then there is seriously something wrong with LE if we can lose track of 100k of our underage girls in this nation.
Then again, if you watch every show on MTV these days, every 13yr old is a complete whore anyways and it is obviously cool to do so. try watching the new show Skins.. 47 sexual comments, acts or inuendos in the 1st 1hr episode and its a show about highschoolers. But hey thats MTV.. not Backpage.. so they are ok doing it, BP has to be stopped tho right?
Honestly how hard is it to just visit every girl posting in most cities and check ID's? I think most of the LEGIT agencies and providers would have no problem with that, and it would cost an LE agency a night out of the entire month with maybe 5 guys.. nobody wants to stop anything in this country, they just want to give reasons why they need more government funding from John Q Taxpayer. Who suffers? The 15yr old girl who can't get out and feels as if nobody cares.
Just making news with it wont fix the problem it will just bring it to more 15yr old girls and future pimps attention and increase the issue. Has it helped to stop drugs in america by mainstreaming the media to constantly put it in movies and in the news? Duh!
