Around here I'd say $300.
Because that's how much I save every time.
Afterward I think, "Whew, that was close."

Why didn't I realize how much money I was saving during my youth?
I had no idea that I had saved enough to have easily afforded to buy a Ferrari by the time I went away to college! Originally Posted by CaptainMidnight

The second question I'd ask is if you answered at least "sometimes" to the above, is the frequency of when you say "what a waste" or "that was just ok" etc. different between the highend "companion experience" and the balance?Oh clearly. I can only remember having one wasted experience with an HDH (however defined) -- and that was probably as much my unrealistic expectations in that particular case. But even among non-HDH (i.e., an hourly in and out) the frequency is low and usually occurs when the little head does the thinking.

Not that it has ever happened.
But as for answers, the hourly dine and dash is nearly 50% fail rate.
HDH (however defined) has never failed. Originally Posted by Marcus Aurelius

Interesting to post this in D&T, where the ladies here will assert they are a "companion experience" (or something similar) not just a cum dumpster.

[I'll make the assumption that most of the Tuxedos here have, overtime, had a variety of experiences with different types of providers at different price points. That is you've had some mid-priced hourly gals in the mix]

That is you've had some mid-priced hourly gals in the mix]I think this is a big assumption. Guys who can only afford to pay by the half hour, IMHO, stick to that. I think most guys are like that. I have a definite tipping scale over which I will not go. Which means I don't see HDHs. However, I think there are some guys who can afford HDHs on a regular basis, and wouldn't dream of visiting with a lady on the lower $$ spectrum.
But the question I'd pose is how often do you drive home (or after she left) and think, "what a waste?"I think I bat about 25/75 (75=what a waste). And there doesn't seem to be a relation to the price point.
is the frequency of when you say "what a waste" or "that was just ok" etc. different between the highend "companion experience" and the balance?Hard to say. I haven't seen what I consider to be a high end companion due solely to the cost of the experience. If you were to ask me about what I imagine the experience to be like, I would have to say that I think most ladies I have dated, for the most part (and I have experienced exceptions to this), try to do their best. So, whether you are paying $$/hr or $$$$$$$$$$/hr, you tend to get the lady's best effort. Just because a lady charges more than another lady doesn't mean her skillz are that much better. I think, for the most part, a cheap f*ck is the same as an expensive f*ck. You know, a rose by any other name.... Part of the problem I think is that HDHs abhor reviews, so it is really hard to find good intel on the HDHs, and especially their multiple hour, overnight or weekend reviews. The result is that there are multiple reviews on the $$/hr lady, while nothing on the HDH. Absent good intel, I'm not sure I would see any lady whose rate is above $$$/hr.
Charles - appreciate your thoughts.
