So having struggled to get photo inline using the little yellow mountain icon for image insertion from a google drive source - all I got was little blue boxes with a question mark.
Frankly a blue balls experience - don't need that.

the link insert link works but not for inline viewing

So when I want to place

from this source
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0l...ew?usp=sharing

How do you get it to just show up?
is it google?
is it a file size issue? They are big picts
Frame size?
format? jpgs, pretty standard

Can't stand another picture BBs again

Thanks for your consideration
(I have looked at a number of the picture posting threads without avail)

You mean like this?

There is a thread stuck at the top of this forum that explains it...

What I see in both of the above post in this thread are:

-----------
some text

then the little blue box with the question mark

Then some more text.
----------

Yes (and I realize you do have to ask questions from step one) I reviewed the post on pictures and followed the steps as described, other than use of google as the source.
img just yields a blue box
link works fine but not the have the actual picture appear in line

I do note that out of google I get 'https://' links (even if I say anyone can access with drive permissions)

imagecoast has worked for me in the past though the size limits are - constraining

for instance when threshold reposted inline pics for me as I only got links to work most recently the resolution drops, point still made but ah.
any other suggestions?

best

I guess for those that come after trying to follow the path...

It doesn't seem google works in this line.... the picture gets up but only as a ling, not a thumbnail, not the picture, regardless of use of link or image.

From imgbox
the links only doesn't seem to work when inserted as a image, nor straight away
the BB code does pop in. Further it has the advantage of being able to be dropped into a ROS you write up as text and you do not have the distract of having to go back and "edit" the review you just posted within the hour

That last would seem the most straight forward to place in a review.
