There has been some recent talk about renewing the tolls on the twin Mississippi River Bridge (Crescent City Connection or CCC for some). the tolls expire in 2011.
Should MRBT stay or go, or in between?
should all bridge tolls across the state of Louisiana be done away with as well?

was financed, they did it with tolls. The public was told the tolls would expire when the bridge was paid for, and wouldn't you know it, THEY DID! The toll booths came down and everything.
Don't know how they finance maintenance, now, though. May be in the city budget somewhere.
