How do these people get elected to Congress?

Considering this is a p4p site, I am not posting this to be judgmental of the man's morals. I am simply amazed at the lack of discretion, considering his level of education (MBA, if his credentials are authentic) and holding a public office.

I understand even if a person is cautious, there are ways that others can out his/her secrets. In many cases, reporters will catch public figures in compromising situations. This guy volunteered his picture, with metadata on it, to a complete stranger. That is the reason for the question on the title of the thread.

How do these people get elected to Congress?

They get the most votes.

And, as I said in another thread, he should have not resigned. Others have suffered similar situations and stayed in office.
