Fees???

Does the ACTUAL fee have to be stated in a review to receive PA credit?
A recent review stated:
Fee: Special rate

This does me little to no good.
No... that's being kind....
It does me NO GOOD at all....
Neither does "see website"... or "See ad on BP"....
I thought we had to put a dollar amount in that space.

If we don't.... I have a lot of creative things to put in that spot.
But I thought the creative stuff was for the ROS....

AND.... the required fields were.... well... the required fields.....
Maybe I'll do a review just to be creative about the fee.....
And see where THAT gets me.....

When should I check for a response in this low priority forum?

I completely agree, no rate, no usefullness to the review, but I will say Lexxy has always been very responsive when I have sent her a PM. But it shouldn't be necessary to get the review basics.

From the provided link:

The consensus was that the forms were there for a reason and without this information the review was to be considered incomplete. This policy is not unique to this section but brings us in line with other geographical sections of ECCIE.
If you're gonna give 'em a hard time you have to read it through.

If I'm writing to give someone a hard time... it's usually quite apparent to all.
P.S. -- This is NOT me giving you a hard time

Now... since I have the entire day free.... I'm going to go searching for some kind of special rate....
Looks, menu etc will take a backseat today....

Is a recommendation required for PA? I have no problem with the guy, I'm ribbing him a little to make a call because it's something I've always felt the onus to do. I certainly think it should be required because it enhances the value of PA.

The link to the formal policy is the moderators and staff telling you that its a required element of the review.....to receive PA credit at least. And besides, this thread http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=261121 telling you the same thing has been in place for nearly three years.

And its a site-wide policy for you wannabe word-game players.
And yes, the recommendation is also a required field.

Basically, if there is blank on the form....fill the damn thing out....if you want PA credit. If you don't, then don't.

I never skimp on the required fields.....
I may fuck around and play games and cause trouble and create drama.....
But I always do my reviews right.....
