I know it's not oysters but you did mention seafood, so my favorite place is the Pelican Grill. Their claypot shrimp is wonderfully spicy without going overboard, with just a touch of lime keffir or lemon grass I can't remember.Haven't eaten there but the menu looks damn good! Yumm I need to try the place out. I'm a big fan of Red Snapper but season doesn't open till June 1. There's a place in BR called Louisiana Lagniape and it has a dish called fish en Papillote. They usually make it with snapper topped with lump crabmeat, shrimp stuffing & a light garlic beure. They wrap this in parchment paper and bake. It's friggin out of this world.
