It was a great speech. Very inspiring, and with the timing and cadence of an old time revival preacher. It was the kind of speech that made me very happy he was elected in 2008. No, I didn't vote for him, but I live in Kansas, so it didn't matter.
The problem is, that after 7 years of lies, corruption and cronyism, the speech was meaningless. Worse, it was funny as decried practices he has implemented with dishonesty. When he spoke of investment in clean energy, one could only think of Solyndra and other phony, crony deals.
This was a speech dishonest about his record and delusional about the future. It was a joke. It was horseshit. It's time for him to go. The downside is, the next one will be worse.
