I thought to ask this. I don't know if this is the right place to do so or not. If it's not, I apologize.

Has your e-mail account ever been hacked? If so, were you able to reset your password?

It just happened to me. I don't know if it was hacked or what but I couldn't get in to my account. Luckily Google makes it easy to reset your password with a security question.

Yes, my personal Email account got hacked last week and within an hour sent out thousands of emails to my contact list. People that I hadn't had contact with in years were sending me emails thinking that I'd emailed them. It didn't take long to figure out what had happend. I changed my password...and it all stopped. I use Gmail for my hobby account and have never had an issue with it.
