Any ultra - right wing nut case who espouses violence and intolerance of true free speech for all, is not part of a Constitution -respecting Conservative movement.

I haven't the foggiest idea who has the right side of this exchange, but I can say that as a practical matter the UK has to remain in good graces with the USA for the foreseeable future. That doesn't mean, however, that it should fear to speak truth to power.

The UK says they're checking to see if this leak is the result of foreign intrusion. IMO, there's a good chance the source of this leak is an Odumbo-ite/hildeest-ite anti-Trumper working in an American intel agency who intercepted the ambassador's words and leaked them to embarrass Trump.

The good news for the "retired" ambassador is that he can now cancel his subscriptions to the New York Times and WaPo which he used for his ~in-depth~ analysis of the Trump administration.
