First time visiting San Antonio, area and hotel recs?

I hear that the airport and med center are the best places to look at staying. Does anyone have any specific hotel recommendations or areas of town they like to stay near? I am trying to currently fill my appointment book. Thanks!

I am wanting to stay In an area that is fairly convenient for a lot of people lol. Not sure if that makes sense but anything helps!

Yes, Airport or Medical Center are your two best options. Avoid Downtown/Riverwalk due to parking hassles. Avoid the Studio version of "We'll keep the lights on for you" due to LE activity.
