STAY HOME TODAY!

In case you haven't seen the weather, turn on the TV. Houston is stalled out due to extremely heavy flooding reminiscent of Tropical Storm Allison, and roads will continue to be risky for some time as the weather system is just sitting. Schools, businesses, and freeways are closing, flights at both airports are being canceled willy nilly. I've had tornado and flash flood warnings at both my home in the northern woods AND at my Houston incall apartment, and that's a broad swath of territory.

If you can, stay where you're at right now. I'm hunkering down with the wee woofs, as my exit road from the Irish Chihuahua Refuge is already flooded over. May be days before I can get out.

And no, don't put the ladies in jeopardy, either. I'm already getting texts and calls requesting outcalls across town. Anybody who would ask that today makes me question their concern for human life other than their own.

I know rainy days make us all frisky, but please, be safe and live to Hobby another time!

I knew I should have bought that boat!

Actually, I'm quite worried about my apartment on the north side. Hope my dragons can dog paddle. Save the Jameson! -- Fancy, from her phone as her regular Internet has gone out.
Doubt anyone will be getting any loving today. Unless you can easily walk.

I would listen to the TV weather, except my power has been off since 3:00 AM. I did venture out to get coffee, since I can't make my own.

My chihuahuas are making a Bark Ark just in case; they're strapping my size 12 flip flops together and gathering their chew sticks as oars.

I remember back in 2008 when Ike hit. I had an in-call over in Montrose at the time. The power was completely out the following few days, but other than that, there wasn't any flooding. Everyone was home from work and I swear I pulled in some big business the 2-3 days following it, lols.

We didn't have any power at my in-call, but the gents didn't seem to mind, lols.
