Eros

There's several news reports posted that EROS data center in North Carolina has been occupied by Feds.
More than likely .

I have never found a need for eros other than to remember why it sucks any way .

So now EROS could stand for ER OS

emergency room operating system

I had a reg from Manhattan recently tell me that the fbi took All their servers in north carolina,But I thought there are 2 locations for Eros, when of the ladies that work their told me that a few yrs back. the X hubby got Cali the x wife got the north carolina unless things have changed,
Underage ladies in case of stolen Id ,Terrorist,or laundering money so that means what now for the providers that use that site when traveling ? This is becoming like escorts.com If FBI shuts down all escorts sites ,Are we back to underground newspapers .

Yes nc servers siezed.
Mirror site took over.

A lot of sites use rental servers nowadays with mirror sites elsewhere.
If the feds want to spend a zillion dollars chasing what is now a whack a mole game, so be it.

But anyone with an EROS account should change passwords

so much for discretion !!!! eros asks for your id and other rwi! now the feds have all info on those who have used their site....... stay away from any site that asks you for your rwi!!! ...eros was praised as a high end site claiming the clients and girls were high class and safe blah blah blah I guess this sucks for anyone who used eros to advertise or hobby !!!.....girls on that site with their"golden pussy" syndrome will just have to go back to basics !!!!.... in all of my years of "making new friends" I never used that site due to the demanding of RWI being sent to them .... glad I never used them ....

Eros says all personal information was stored on servers outside of the United States. So Carpenter do you have information to the contrary or are you guessing or making assumptions?

I will admit I don't have any special info or anything, just going on what I've read in the news and the info given by Eros but it does get me when people start making statements of fact without really saying how they know it.

I totally agree about changing passwords to accounts though.

Eros was also using rental servers in north carolina.
It is what it is.

Select Page ID Requirements and Acceptable Forms of ID
by The Informed Provider | May 29, 2015 | Policy

As industry leaders, we feel it is vital to ensure that only advertisers over the age of 18, providing legal services, are made available online. Eros is constantly evolving internal policies to keep up with technological, political, and legislative trends. Our goal is to continue to provide the highest level of quality traffic and content that we can for both advertisers and viewers.
Here are just two examples of policy that may affect your account. When posting a new Ad, reposting an old Ad, or adding/swapping images you may be required to provide:
  • A valid and non-expired government issued ID that is legible and in full color. This can be a scan or digital image of the ID, but it must be clear and of high quality.
  • A non-cropped, non-blurred version of a photo of the model on the ad from the same photo shoot. It is our policy that when we cannot see the face of a model in a photograph, that we reserve the right to have these documents on file for comparison purposes.
Some acceptable forms of ID would include:
From the US:
  • US Issued “Permanent Resident Card (AKA Green Card)
  • State issued ID’s (including state issued Liquor ID Cards)
  • Military ID’s
  • Passports (Depending on issue date and country of origin; Eros may not be able to accept certain older passport formats or passports from some countries)
  • Passport cards- A Passport Card facilitates entry and expedites document processing at U.S. land and sea ports-of-entry when arriving from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda.
  • Department of Homeland Security forms I-327, I-571 and I-766
  • Driver’s license and IDs issued by US territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, etc.)
International:
  • Canadian ID
  • Canadian Healthcare cards (need front and back to approve)
  • LO ID
  • UK ID
  • Some select Foreign Passports
  • Passport cards
  • European Union cards
If you have any questions or concerns about our ID requirements or the types of IDs we will accept, please contact Customer Service.

Age Verification Policy

by The Informed Provider | Aug 12, 2015 | Policy |
Eros takes age verification very seriously and will report suspected underage account-holders or advertisers to the proper authorities and agencies.
  • Eros NEVER publishes advertising content for, nor accepts advertising content from, any person under the age of 18 years old.
  • Eros NEVER publishes content of an advertiser created prior to the age of 18 years old.
  • Eros NEVER allows an advertiser to advertise, suggest, or insinuate that they are under the age of 18 years old (even when we have proof that the advertiser is actually above the age of 18 years old).
  • Eros requires a valid and approved ID to be on file prior to publishing any advertisement when there is not reasonable certainty that the advertiser is above the age of 22 years old, or the advertisement contains any of the following:
    • Advertisers marketing themselves as under the age of 22 years old.
    • Advertisers marketing themselves using adjectives that could be used to describe a person under the age of 22 years old (e.g. young, teen, sweet, fresh, innocent, pure, tender, naïve), or in any way is attempting to appear under the age of 22 years old.
  • Eros requires a valid and approved ID to be on file if through the acquisition of additional information, such ad no longer meets the ‘reasonable certainty’ standard that an advertiser is 22 years old or greater.
  • In the event the Eros cannot see the face of the advertiser in an image (e.g. blurred face, image cropped at the shoulders to remove head, images of advertisers in positions that obscure their facial features), the advertiser is required to submit an unblurred, uncropped, or otherwise unobstructed facial image. This unobstructed image will be used, in addition to the other ad images on file, to determine ID requirements for the advertiser.

CC .... im not trying to get nasty or be a biotch to you or be a "know it all" but the fact is that the company eros had a connection to, is now under investigation with tthe feds....... the computers were seized the servers are being looked into, and it happened in North Carolina (on US territory) which put all of that info and what info was connected to the "scene" in the hands now of the FBI. I highly doubt that anyone's personal info on that site is safe right now ..... as far as your friend that is posting in boston ....I dont think your friend is telling you the truth if in at all she told you exactly how she got to post on eros... I know when I tried to post on eros everything was fine until the screen popped up saying I had to submit a photo id.(and im a verified provider, reviews everywhere etc) once I got to that point, I opted out... so from experience I know they ask for valid updated photo RW id.and I'm well over the age of 18 so why would they ask me for the id right ? .. all I was trying to say is that when we're out here providing and hobbying alike , we shouldn't be connecting our RW with our provider/hobby world together in any way shape or form ..(unless we live in a state where its legal). .... and we certainly shouldn't be trusting our RW info on sites that host certain types of ads(unless the sites are hosted outside of the US like other well known verification pay sites) ... just be careful out there big brother is always watching ...... and yes your correct in the sense of that another site will pop up they always do !!! one already launched its much like escorts dot com used to be ....
I recently made an account there and submitted a copy of my ID (I'm pretty sure.. This was weeks ago) and planned to post an ad there, but have not yet.
Went searching for more info and found this thread.
I should have looked sooner.

Which also reminds me, eccie does the same thing as Eros to get age verification.

That leaves me wondering... So now what?
Unique_Carpenter's Avatar
Most outfits delete/destroy data once a verification is complete (or claim to).
At the least, change your password.

EROS jumped servers and is still running.

The amount of effort leo puts into misdemeannor is diddly compared to the effort they put into trafficking or the underage stuff.

So if you're not a specific target already, hiding in a crowd is a common approach.
