Santa Fe :: When is the Best Time to Visit Santa Fe Area

Can Anybody please tell me when its a
Good time to Visit the Santa Fe Area.??

Hard to say. In the summer the town fills up with tourists and gets expensive. Tourists are probably not your market. Same for Xmas. I would suggest trying to get a couple of pre-bookings with reliable ECCIE or TER members. Be wary of guys who claim to be member but cannot prove it.

Indian market and Spanish market are in August and Santa Fe fiestas are in September.

Hi Rachel, I do not make it to Santa Fe very often, but I will be in ABQ on the 20th - 26th. If your going to be in that area make sure you let me know ;-)

October!! - ABQ Balloon Festival is rolling and both ABQ & Santa Fe are FULL! Also, at the end of Oct the Hatch Green Chilies are roasting all over the state....it's awesome.

Depends on if you are visiting for funzies or for 'work'!?

Work & fun Santa Fe seems like a very beautiful place for the day I did visit.
I really wanna come back.Just during the right time.

If you like the outdoors fall is a great time to visit. Or during ski season in winter. Summer brings you the opera and summer/fall there are tons of art shows happening. Check out the Santa Fe Reporter online for event info and non touristy food reviews as there is a great foodie culture in town. Many of us in the scene up here need a little more advanced notice to 'play' so that's always helpful as well. Safe travels!

I'd say the best time to visit Santa Fe, is when I've got lots of play money and time to share it!!!��
