Age of hobbyist trending younger?

I am curious. Is there an increase in young single guys using SW? I have noticed some discussions on Twitter/X that clients are getting younger who use a SW. Why do you think that is the case? When I was young and single I had plenty of options for sex with girls that I socialized with. Is there a change taking place in the American culture? Was it Covid? Increase in porn use among young people could affect their socialization with a girl in person. Do they have a hard time getting a girlfriend? Most SW say they have older clients. Some will have a age restriction for over 40. What do you think is going on? I would love to hear opinions from companions and even young clients.

Full disclosure. I am 62 years old and first used a SW at the age of 27. I have been in the hobby off and on for 35 years. I was married at young age and would rather use a SW then have an affair. If you are in your early 20s and are single and have the money to use a SW I am all for you. Go for it. I am not against you using a SW at all. It is great. Just curious what is the motivation and is this a real trend? Am I looking at it all wrong?

More young people spending their time socializing online and their social levels have plummeted. Tons of studies on this and it for sure has dampened the minds of a lot of them. Also making them more depressed and aggressive which would feed into that.

Porn can incentivize the want for sex, but not sure what it does in regards to the social aspect. There's plenty of debates online on that. I would say that feeds into loneliness and feelings of inadequacy which could push more towards the hobby. Especially if it's an addiction.

There's also numerous articles that talk of women using "sex work" during covid for supplement incoming and some quitting their jobs. So there's for sure been this uptick in this type of mindset and guys are the fuel.

I did see a lot more open advertisement of sex on social media during covid. From onlyfans blowing up to IG becoming more sleazy and now twitter/X seems to be going that route. These are mainly younger women which will attract a lot of younger men. I found women advertising OF and meetups when reading boxing tweets on twitter. I've also seen the same type of advertisement on political and MANY entertainment tweets as well. It's much more in our faces since it became X and Elon or whoever giving less fucks.


If you look @ archive for tryst (website created in 2018). You can see a mass indexation happening on there which shows it blowing up around 2019. OH2 also shows "Most users ever online was 9,447, 01-13-2021". A lot of this stuff started becoming more visible during covid times and I'm sure it's been increasing. Can't look into valid YTD traffic stats on these hobby sites, but I'm sure they all start gaining a large amount of visits during covid to where they are today. So young people would fit somewhere in there.

I remember there being a younger guy at one of Roxanne Reynolds parties in Tulsa. I told him to get the hell out of there and go work for his pussy like we did! Lol

Everything that has been said could be correct, but I dont think the younger generation rationalizes it that way. For the past few years I've heard alot of talk about the so called "cutting out the middle man". If you take a girl out, your going to spend 150 to 200 on drinks, dinner, movie, etc, and then your going to hope to get laid at the end of the night. Why not just give a young lady the money upfront and get laid for sure.
I can see the point in that thinking, the problems I have with that is, now you have to do that every time. Whereas if you actually take her out on a date you only have to do it every now and then, other times you can get buy with pizza, beer and Netflix with the same girl.
I don't know how old anyone is here except the person who started this because he stated his age. I'm in my early 50's. From 16 to 30 yrs old, i wasn't thinking about any of this. I had more free pussy than I knew what to do with. I was passing pussy to my friends so I can move on to the next girl.

Social media and apps like tinder have made dating a huge pain in the ass for a lot of people. A lot of guys aren't interested in spending the time and money to try to gain a girls interest just for it to blow up, when they could spend that same money on a escort and get the result they wanted without the work lol.

What is on my mind is two things.


The first is less social skills and the average person has less social intelligence and less confidence to approach a girl. The break down here is primarily due to the internet and social media use.


The second is that there are more girls flaunting OF accounts and people finding sex online or via media has become a lot more mainstream. Also all of the 'hook up' apps that are out there. These apps do both, breaks down the social skills and also makes random sex with strangers more obtainable and socially acceptable.


I believe these two issues are having the most impact on the younger generation jumping into our play pen. With my personal experience as a PT SW and an older entertainer, I have not noticed an influx of the younger gentlemen.
