If you are in the mood for Mexican, I'd suggest Rosario's in Southtown. Good food, and depending on the time of day, usually has a spirited vibe going.
Otherwise, I'd suggest hitting The Pearl. Lots of different places to eat, people watch, etc. Again, depending on time of day. It's Monday, so might not have the energy you'd like.
