Local hotspots

I am new to San Antonio Can anyone tell me what some of the local hotspots Are for nightlife. I am staying downtown for now So something in that area would be preferred But I'm definitely open for suggestions

If you're OK with an upscale place, go to Paramour, 9th Street between Broadway and St. Mary's. It's on the top floor of an office building on the river (but not Riverwalk area). They have a huge patio with sofas and a great view of the city. Drinks are pricey but still a worthwhile place if you're visiting.

Many other hip clubs and bars on Brooklyn Ave. or St. Mary's as well if you want to bar hop.
