Another Jessica Rabbit? 🐇

Ok So maybe I didn't pick the most original name out there.. But at the time I chose my name, there were no other Jessica Rabbits in KC and I had bright red hair so I went with it.. (I change my hair color often ...it is black now)

Apparently now there's a blonde Girl posting ads in KC under the name Jessica Rabbit .. I did text her and asked her very nicely to please consider changing her name to possibly Jessica Staxx or Jessica Foxx or anything but Jessica Rabbit as I've got a good reputation and reviews (Not to mention I've been the only Jessica Rabbit in KC for over 5 years now ) and I think we should be recognized as the two separate individuals that we are and not be confused for the same person but she didn't agree. She even told me it was unethical of me to ask her to change her name..

The problem is...
On 3 separate occasions now
3 different gentlemen saw the other Jessica Rabbit (not me) then never saved her number in their phones
.. Later on when these gentlemen were looking for new ladies to hobby with were asked for their references and because they didn't have the girls phone number they Googled "Jessica Rabbit KC" and found my number and gave it to the lady asking for references without even realizing it's not the same Jessica they met before.. One of the gentlemen contacted Kristen Kindle for a date and when I explained to her that the guy must have me confused with someone else he went on to say I should remember him because " I told him I just got out of jail and had been sleeping in my car" First of all I bought a house last year and spent all year remodeling it and I definitely haven't been in jail.
He also speculated that she may have been under the influence of a possible drug or alcohol.. I do not want my image or reputation being tarnished because people are confusing me with someone else. I thought about changing my own name but I feel that would also hurt my reputation because people might wonder why I changed my name?

Even my website has my name in it I can't change that..unless i shut the whole thing down and start over a new website. But why should I? I was here first! I worked hard for my good reputation why should she be able to ride my coat tails and dirty my name?

So if you see a post that says Jessica Rabbit, it is only me if you see my website and or phone number listed on the ad..

I saw who you are referring to on the net. My opinion is that you should just let it lie for now, chances are she will be gone in a minute anyway. You might have to deal with the occasional knucklehead, but I am sure that occurs regardless of recent events.

There will only be one Jessica Rabbit except for the movie...and she is the sweetest thang!

I would stand my ground. As soon as the wind picks up, she will tumble back out of town. I believe she has been through in the past.

A jail bird who sleeps in her car and decided to imitate a well known and popular vixen to boost her street cred still won't be as fun to be with I'm sure. if the guys knew what was good for them they would ask her for your number and tell her to hop along the bunny trail.

I understand how frustrating it must be, but you will always be Jessica Rabbit. and you've done way to much work setting up that brand to change. Like others said, hang in there and deal with the BS till it blows over.

Wow, that’s terrible.🙁 Even in this business, most of us have some morality. She may be gone soon, but if not, you may be able to add KC after your name. If you have to go that route, there should be a way to update your site. That’s a bummer. And your ass... OMG
