Checkstubs online - income verification for rental/mortgage

I am reapplying for a lease starting March 17 and I am feeling "off" about using fake stubs again.

I utilized online generated paycheck stubs last year. Providing the "employer's" (fake)id number spooked me. I had a friend agree to verbally verify me over the phone if needed for the lease.

I was lucky. The leasing company was lazy & didn't verify it thank God.

I re-applied for an apartment lease with the same management company different property.

My application is approved (pending self employment income proof) starting March 17.

I feel nervous about using fake stubs again without having verifiable employer info. I don't want to ruin my chance to get the apt I've already paid admin and deposit on if I'm caught lying.

I haven't filed taxes for 2017 or 2016. What do I risk if I fill out dummy schedule C/1040s forms and hand them over?

2015-2016 I receive tax-free Military Veteran Compensation monthly. I have that proof.

The escort friendly accounting service p411 recommends is too swamped to help me verify income.

Help please!

My window of opportunity is closing fast. I exit current apt nlt 3/20/18

Thank you!
