Text message time lag question

Poppa_Viagra's Avatar
My hobby phone is the app Burner, phone is a Motorola, carrier is Verizon.
Texting over the regular text app sometimes has a couple of minutes' delay.
I had texted Jada.Nasty first thing in the morning, she answered promptly but I did not receive her text back until afternoon, about a 3 hour lag.
I suspect it's in the Burner server.

Anyone?
fuck you
I just texted you. It's in the burner server

bitch
it's still in the burner server

Quite likely the OP is correct. About the only thing you can do is invest in a true hobby phone, which imo will be well worth the monthly cash to avoid complications like needing an immediate incall address on arrival.

Happy Hobbying!

Even without using the the hidden line apps, text messages jumping between two folks that are on different carriers can have delays.
My fav and I have tested between our various phones, some on same carrier and some not, and a couple min diff with different carriers is a very common thing. We did that cause once it was an extended delay.
