I have been going to that event since it started. Although it is a great place for Asian eye candy, you will not find what you are looking for there.

If you enjoy the Asian cultures then this festival should not be missed. Really

LMFAO....never underestimate the twisted mentality of a monger
Last time I went I saw a really cool Buddhist ceremony

Very worth seeing ! Very good time I would encourage every provider I see to go and enjoy a mandala
Mongers to
And I enjoy poly cultureism ,
Wish they would turn this into a mult-day event as stepping out on a saturday sfternoon is a no-go for me.

Sounds like fun - I will be there. So, it's the Year of the Dog and not pets allowed?

The food menus bring back many decades old memories for me. Costumes and dances, too. Arts, music, you name it.

If the weather cooperates, better get there early to enjoy everything without being shoulder to shoulder and hip to hip with the crowd. Although ...

Amazing it is how many more Asian cultures exist in San Antonio these days compared with "back when" although some of the now visible cultures were here back when, just did not emerge until this century.

Yes, there are many Asian cultures in SA and if you search you can find many different Asian grocery stores in town. Even a movie theater that shows Filipino movies.
