How do you link a site to to a thread on mobile phone?

Same way you do it on a laptop or computer.

highlight the distant site browser address and "cut" and then "paste" into whatever window you want to post the link.

Works very well in Safari browser on an iPhone and same thing with Chrome on an Android.
