why be a mod?

So I have been wondering about this for a while and even more so now that my good friend highway man is a mod..I'm not sure y anyone would take that much time out of their every day life to baby sit a board? And y would any girl give free pussy to a mod ( if it does happen ) ? What benifit does it have for the girl who gives these favors? Lol and what benifit does a mod get for taking so much of their free time to do this?

I suspect for some folks it's a chance to flex the imaginary muscles they can't see when their naked. A chance to feel like they are something, have some authority. Kind of like becoming a toll booth operator or the security guard at the county library.

But if you read other areas of the board, Mods most certainly do attempt to flex their influence into discounts. Whether the ladies offer it first or the Mod asks first I know not, but I think the expectation is some favors from the Mod with screening or should an argument get out of control on the board.

I used to have appreciation and respect for the Mods and I still do outside of our section, but its a case by case issue, a mod is just a fucktard that has more access to try and help out. In general, it should be appreciated but when one says they'll help out and then sloughs around in a lazy, unhelpful manner it actually hurts.

Highway seems engaged in it and is making a nice effort. I was willing to help out but DD has made it clear I should do the exact opposite. Sort of clear, as the motive escapes me.

It's a question like the chicken and the egg, darlin' you can wonder all day and get nowhere.

I ask myself that same question lol. Most people especially the ones who are quick to criticize, don't realize what it takes to make a board such as eccie exist. For me I moderate on 3 forums now, if no one ever steps up these boards will not exist for all of us to enjoy. If I give a little free time to the benefit of many so be it not really a big deal. In the working word there are managers and laborers most are content to be a worker bee with management not in there wheel house. But it takes management to make it happen as much as some may bitch and complain lol.
Don't know where all the rumors of free pussy come from lol but I for one get no compensation other than satisfaction of helping others. I have been fortunate in this hobby for many years and hope to pass some of my knowledge to others and dumb luck too lol. I will probably never live up to many of the members expectations but I will always try to do my best. Anyone who knows me knows I could care a less about flexing my muscles I get to much of that at work lol. After being on both sides here my only recommendation is enjoy this board for what it is meant to be and don't take stuff to seriously. Cheers
