Making a Living

Are most escorts, particularly those at the high-end, able to make a living from escorting?

I have a question for the high-end, luxury escort: how many clients do you typically see per month?

They see no more than 1 client a week and each date is for a minimum of 5K for an evening; do the math.

And, believe it or not, some of them do not report their full incomes to the IRS.

These guys are being sarcastic. For each woman on here I'm sure you will get a different answer. You asked in another forum aobut Amanda's book. Yes, she has a lot of great info.

Most of the time I can completely self support on companionship, but there are times when that isn't a possibility. I always have a "day job" going, to ensure financial stability, and frankly I find the gentlemen hold me in high regard for being successful in the typical work world. It gives us a lot more to talk about and it makes it far more comfortable to introduce me to people since I can talk about my job and not spend the whole time lying.

As Ansley wisely stated: Each girl has her own answers.

If you're considering the jump, my advice: Make sure you have enough money coming in from grandfathered clients or a job to survive and advertise for one very slow year, and a second moderately slow year. After that it generally picks up - at least that's the pattern I noticed for many women I've seen make the change.

When I was an escort, I would see 1-3 clients a week, occasionally, when out of town I will dabble in it occasionally, but for the most part I am retired (otherwise known as married)
1. Depends on the lady.
2. Depends on the lady.

FYI, it's a little uncouth to ask strangers about their financial affairs, no matter what business they're in. I know you're probably just curious, but remember that, in general, the same rules of etiquette from "the real world" apply here too. Keep in mind that we also don't know you -- you could be a lady looking to enter the biz, or you could be the IRS. And anyone could be reading!

Personally, yes, this has been a very sound financial decision for me, and when I'm actively working, I'm happy with the number of gentlemen I see. But unless you're my accountant, that's about as detailed as I'll get.

Not sure how you define high end, but these ladies have rates ranging from 350-1000 per hour. Apparently they are "making a living" from their endevours. The one that maintains her career, could easily make a living. She doesnt want to put up with the pace to make a living doing this. She might see two in a week or one in two or three weeks. Seeing her is a great experience as she is always a fresh experience.

The others may start out saying they will see a couple of clients per week, then they get popular and adjust their "standard of living" and want more. before you know it they not turning down anyone. Honestly, I have seen these ladies service level go down. It looks like a tough pace to keep up for very long. PS save some money. But most dont.

peace out and best of luck.

I'll be your first if you want some practice.

Wow, that's amazing. I didn't know you could make a living from this. I guess that it must take years for that to happen--one must first establish herself and build a client base. That must take a long time.

I need to pay off my loans from college (just graduated recently) and save for graduate school, and this is one way that I was thinking of doing it.

I know it's not easy breaking into the business, but it sounds like a fun endeavor.
