Yes, it was a bipartisan attack on liberty. McCain and Lindsey Graham being the traitors on the Right. However, Chuck Shumer stated that the offensive "indefinite detention" language was requested by President Obama.
So far, all attempts to eliminate that provision have fallen short. Totally bizarre.
But you're right, Obama is not solely to blame on this one. Many Republicans, including so-called Tea Party Patriots turned against us in this one.
