Questions regarding security

A Dallas provider emailed me with the following questions:

Question 1. With all these sites out here requiring picture ID photos and full names and things of the nature, is that possibly a risk for providers someday in the future? Can it be used against you, traced back to you? I'm assuming so. Unless its up to the website to release information.

Answer: There's always a risk that LE may glean information from a website to make a case, although it's unlikely. I'd be surprised if a site released information voluntarily. Normally, a site will only release information if it's served a subpoena. It's not illegal to be on a site as an "escort," although it's a violation of various laws to advertise that you offer "massage" (or "bodyrubs" or any other like term) when you're not an RMT.

2. Regarding the above question, if you have to give your name and ID for escort sites, and if someone has a warrant, can they not be tracked via that?

Answer: I THINK you're asking if LE gets access to a provider's RW identity from a website via a subpoena, runs a warrant check on them, finds a warrant, the provider is within the cop's jurisdiction, and LE makes an appointment, could LE arrest the provider on the warrant. I guess anything's possible. You could add to your screening questions, "Do you wear blue and have a warrant to arrest me?" Haha. Or you could -- god forbid -- be responsible and take care of your warrant.

3. And of course how probable is it to be located by booking a hotel room in your name if you have a warrant, and what kind of outcome would that be?

Answer: Some PDs make the rounds of provider-friendly notels and use registration records and run license plates in the parking lot to run warrant checks. If a warrant pops up, they'll arrest the girl.
