BBQ notice

Plowboys Barbecue is closing in less than 2 weeks.

That's sad news.

I always hate to hear of a small business closing but, reports I heard were that they were kind of middlin'.

They do however have a pretty good side of their business that will continue with sauces/rub sales that are widespread. They were not mentioned much in all the childish bitching about what is/isn't BBQ, but they were pretty good at their craft. One of a very few that I can say I liked their back ribs, I personally prefer and think much meatier are St. Louie spare rib cut.

Correct, They've made a deal for a commercial kitchen so they can continue non-restaurant sales. Totally rehabbed website to come on line in a bit to support that.

Too bad. I liked the one in Blue Springs, although I thought they were a little pricey. Love me some burnt ends. Love the ones at Joe's but can only get them on wednesday and Saturday because of the demand I guess....

They were a highly regarded contest team with numourous awards, especially for their burnt ends.
