As long as you do not give hotel staff any reason to suspect you, any hotel is as safe as any other. It's not like the front desk is checking mugshots or Showcases every time a woman checks in. The better questions are where you should stay to ensure that you get the amount of business you desire, and how much you want to pay. Don't draw attention to yourself, screen your clients and take out the trash yourself, and you should be fine.
I once stayed at a hotel in DFW. Went to use their printer to print out my boarding pass. Sure enough the computer I was using at their business center had a whole trail of eccie views in the history tab. It was a safe hotel.
