Money

Sometimes we think we know all there is to know about certain fundamentals.

Well, often times we are wrong.

Take the fundamental concept of money.

We all know it when we see it, don't we?

Well, not so fast.

Watching an interesting documentary on the Federal Reserve, the commentator said that eventually, we will not be using money because we will all be using currency.

Whoa!

Aren't those just two words for the same thing?

. . . Turns out that no. There is a big difference between the two! Do you know what it is?

Currency is something of true value. The concept of money only represents it. Now I didn't research this first, so hey I could be wrong.

Thanks for that link, See.

Another article simplifies the difference even more.

See link below.

According to the author, money is the product of the market.

Whereas, currency is created by governments.

. . . Money is really a facinating subject!
