This is a nothing issue. Romney isn't a birther. He was making a joke. Probably not the best joke, but that was all it was.

As much as the liberal media wants this to be an issue, they won't be able to keep it alive for more than a few more hours.

It was a joke. Poor taste, but a joke. Calculated poor taste joke intended to remind the "birther" fanatics why they should vote against Obama (not FOR Romney), but a joke.

The really sad thing is now both sides will spend lots of time trying to convince us that this is a really, REALLY important reason to vote for "thier" guy.

Wouldn't it be nice to put that much into specifics about solving the issues. But that's asking too much in US politics these days.
