Do you still believe in religions?

Ladies and gents, what do u think about religions that currently exist? I myself think that they don't really do any goods on what happens around the world nowadays. I believe in the creator some says it's God, Jesus, Brahma/Shiva/Wishnu, Buddha, Allah, Yahweh, etc. But the highest deity itself still remains unknown to all of us.

I know I'm doing wrong but last perfect person to walk this earth died over 2000 years ago, that's what I believe...

This thread will be interesting to say the least...

Being a former man of the cloth I don't have any problem with anyone's belief system. Just as long as they don't take it to the level of zealotry. I prefer to keep an openmind simply recognizing there is a higher power perhaps. Definitely an afterlife as what is this collection of experiences and lessons for? Their is a use for religion in our world. It helps maintain a balance. In all the world there must be balance. Look at the Spanish inquisition and then slide down to the other side of the spectrum to the Nazi regime, or the precold war Soviet government.
I say, "oh God, oh God!" a lot. Does that count?

I kid! I believe what I believe and that is that God loves me regardless of what anyone else thinks of me.

I try my best to respect everyone's opinions about religion because I don't think any of us, including me, knows the answers to the important eternal questions.

For me, after figuring out that as a Christian I couldn't prove there is a God, and determining that no atheist can ever prove that there isn't a God, I think only the agnostic can defend his or her view with any authority.

In the end, I just do what I can to live by the Golden Rule and hope for the best.

Actually DED there are two different schools of thought on the whole "saved" notion. I could get all apologetic here but I won't bore anyone. If it helps Mandy here's a saying my mentor/pastor used to say "God loves you just the way you are. He loves you too much to leave you that way." If you subscribe to that sort of thing.
I am only allowed to go into one church without burning. The nuns at that church are topless.
um i will agree to disagree, i dont feel i can go to a church and get saved knowing im going to walk out those doors right after and do what i do. when you get saved your suppose to live like christ and i cant say im going to live christ like beacause that would be lie. i know god loves me no matter what but i still feel i shouldnt get saved untill this time in my life has passed
