Coming for a visit end of September

I know this is way advance notice, but I will be there for personal reasons at the end of September.

I know there are some folks in the gulf that are interested in seeing me, and I don't mind spending a day down there, but I will be in Hattiesburg for an event for sure.

I'd love some advice on where to stay and all the good stuff that goes along with a visit to a state I've never been to.

I'm sure very few of you have heard of me, but I'm from Dallas, TX and I've been around a few years.

I just graduated from Engineering school, but I'm going to work on getting certified for another type of program that I can also use my degree with and figured I could do some traveling while I get to enjoy some time off from school.
