Why are the car makers pushing this ?
So you can sit in the drivers seat and not use your hands. What are you going to do then.....read a book......eat more food ? Most people prefer to drive their vehicles.

Self Driving Cars are definitely in the future but I prefer to have control over the car.

The drive no longer has responsibility. It seems like all the burden will be the car manufacturers.
Which is a tremendous liability to take on, on their part.
If they have deep pockets, attorneys will be rabid and come out of the woodwork. Originally Posted by VitaMan
