I have lived in Las Vegas on and off since 1996. When I first came here it was a small town of 700,000, centered around the Strip.
There were no night clubs in casinos. The Sands and the Dunes were still standing, and where the Bellagio sits was a golf course!
Wow, have I seen some changes. This town has gone through more reinventions than Madonna.
We got hit by the recession as hard as any place, so many of us lost our homes (over here!) and credit...but we tough it out.
The people in this town are what make it work. They personifiy the Chinese proverb "Fall down Seven times get up Eight!"
They brush off and just keep going.
As we say in Vegas "Good thing I clean up well."
I moved back in Sept., after a 5 year hiatus, and I must say, Vegas to day is in a fabulous place, the very best place I have seen yet.
With the addition of the many high rise condo/hotels and City Center, it is a real city now, a far cry from the demure skyline and slow(er) pace
I found in '96.
I love getting dressed up and going to a lounge or restaurant on the Strip, meeting people from all over the world, enjoying the very best in food, drink and shopping...and spas, omg!
then stopping off at my place, which is directly behind the LV Hilton, changing into jeans and boots and going Downtown, to the edgy, gritty, artsy area quickly being developed into a work/play utopia by the CEO of Zappos, Tony Shey, and his

The lovely art deco highrise the Ogden towers over Las Vegas Blvd and 4-6th streets, which Tony has turned into a combo of office and dormitory, housing start ups he has gathered such as Amy Jo Martin's Digital Royalty, whose first private client was Shaq. Ck out their Digital Royalty University for a variety of very affordable on-lin social media classes. The woman is amazing.

I was at the second First Friday Downtown in 2002...maybe 60 of us were drinking wine and communing about art in Michael Wardles' gallery at the Arts Factory, which is now the Arts Factory, Bar and Bistro.
In Oct. I attended the 10th Anniversary of First Friday, along with 20,000 other people!!
How could I NOT return to Vegas to participate in a development in I was a part of at the very beginning?!
I can't tell you how exciting it is to watch it all blossom, in such a big way.

We are structuring it like a tech start up and building the numbers slowly, thru social media.

I am looking for ladies to audition for my 2 HOT! leads, Jordan, an unapologetic, empowered escort and Courtney, who is quickly becoming a Madame.
I am seeking Production Angels to help me get all the way through Phase 1 (almost there!).
My Production Angels will be the first invited to the table when Phase 2 begins early in 2013, with a solid biz plan/ROI.
The Casting Event will be filmed to create a Sizzle Reel and crowdsourcing video re:
