To any male suffering from unanswered text messaging.

Gentlemen, I don't know about the other ladies but this has definitely been an issue for me. When I receive a text but it was not super recent I never know if I'm allowed to return the text at ALL times or would texting them long after they messaged me cause then domestic problems. So often I just won't return the text if it's been awhile since it was received. Maybe y'all wouldn't mind helping us out with instructions on proper text and call times. Thank you.

I would say text back anytime you can. Its up to each guy to be responsible for his own situation not you. Plus you wont please everyone because half will be mad you took too long to answer and the other half will just be mad no matter what.

I would say, you're safe with a nondescript message...something like, "Hey, I'm finally returning your call. I'll be at work all day if you need to talk about my program. - Laney". Something like this should keep everyone out of trouble.

I usually don't text back if like past 5 pm. I did once after I saw a regular and since he always texts me anytime I had texted him that nite ,thank you much for seeing me and his s.o. saw text. I played dumb and pretended had wrong #

Laney, if they don't mention anything about when to answer their text, reply when you can.

Try using, This is the Fed Ex guy/gal we have a package that needs a signature just checking to see when we can schedule delivery?

That kind of keeps everyone out of trouble and is easily blown off if the S.O. sees it. Just don't send that at 2 A.M.

Good question Laney. My thoughts are if they text you on a certain number you should be able to text back with the thought that they are using a safe phone but being cryptic on your response might be safest way to answer till you get to know that client. I can imagine the backlash so better safe then sorry. Sux that you girls sometimes have to do the thinking for us guys..lol.
