I agree- I use a VPN to connect, but extra security is never a bad thing.

I have been upset about this since I joined.
Every PM I send, every post I make is sent in cleartext. Without a VPN it can all be tracked back to you by a simple subpoena since all ISPs keep records. Unacceptable in today's world.

My VPN is blocked as well. So posts and messages are clear text all the way back to the source. ECCIE sucks.
