Deleting attachments in closed thread

I am trying to delete my attachments and start over but my thread has been closed, disabling this option. Can anyone simply help me?

the attachments in your welcome thread aren't going to be removed. You were answered via pm earlier

aren't attachments deleted through her account control panel?
